Luna is the first cat that makes her appearance in Sailormoon. She enters on the very first episode and is actually a very important character to the show. It was Luna who found the all of the inner senshi except for Venus (because she had Artemis) and gave them the ability to transform and fight. Because of the Dic dub (-_-;) Luna seems to be much older than she really is. Luna is around Usagi’s age and she did not come from England!! However, Luna can seem to be mean at times to Usagi but only because she wants her to focus and put her mind on things. Luna actually cares deeply about Usagi (who doesn’t? ^_^)
Luna In the manga, Luna is from the same planet as Tin Nyanko, Mau. Nyanko blasted her and it scarred her crescent moon, which made her unable to talk. She was eventually killed by Sailor Lethe as were Artemis and Diana. But along with everyone else, she was reborn into the 30th century. |
took a big part in the Super movie when she fell in love with Kakeru. She made a wish that she could be a human woman so that she could take of Kakeru. At the end of the movie, Sailormoon uses the ginzuishou and grants Luna’s wish, turning her into a human girl for one night. Luna is the only one of the cats that transforms into human in the anime but in the manga, they are all able to transform. Luna also had a crush on Yaten in the Sailor Star series. ^_^
