Chiba Mamoru is the love interest of Usagi’s life. Mamoru is none other than Tuxedo Kamen who Usagi swooned after on the very first episode of Sailormoon. In the beginning of Sailormoon, Usagi could not stand Mamoru. He was rude and he always had something to say to her. Of course it didn’t help that Usagi was always throwing something behind her and of course it would hit him. During the first season, the Sailor Senshi did not know if Tuxedo Kamen was friend or foe. The only thing they were sure about was that he was searching for the Ginzuishou like they were. But Usagi fell in love with Tuxedo Kamen and one day, Tuxedo Kamen gave up his life for Sailormoon. It was then that Usagi changed into Princess Serenity for the first time. Tuxedo Kamen was revealed to be Prince Endymion, from the Earth. Right after it was revealed that Mamoru was Endymion, the Dark Kingdom took him and brainwashed him. He fought against the Sailor Senshi to the very end of the series when Sailormoon refreshed his memories. But he died soon after that by a shattered crystal. He was reincarnated by the Ginzuishou along with the rest of the inner senshi.

Mamoru failed to regain his memories during the Ann and Ail arc and so Tuxedo Kamen did not make an entrance in this filler series. Tsukikage no Knight took his place and instead of a red rose, he had a white rose. After the Ann and Ail arc, Mamoru gets his memories back and Tuxedo Kamen comes back. ^_^. In the second part of the R series, Mamoru dumped Usagi (it was so sad!!) because he had a bad dream that said that she would be hurt if they stayed together. (Did not happen in the manga) They eventually hook back up and Mamoru is revealed to be King Endymion, Chibiusa's father.

In the Sailor Star series, Mamoru boarded a plane to America because he was going to study at Harvard. Usagi never heard from him and she worried about him, but she didn't tell the other senshi. At the end, it was shown that Galaxia had killed Tuxedo Kamen, when his plane was still in flight. But, like everyone else, he is revived at the end and led back to Usagi by ChibiChibi. ^_^

In the anime, Tuxedo Kamen wasn't really given an attack except for his Rose Throw and his cane. In the manga, he had the attack Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber. Tuxedo Kamen has been involved in powering up Sailormoon several times. Like in the Super series when Sailormoon got the Spiral Moon Rod. Mamoru and Diana (Chibiusa's kitten) are very good friends. ^_^
